Step 1: Log into Go Systems
- Begin by logging into your Go Systems application.
Step 2: Access Xero and Export Trial Balance
- Log into your Xero account.
- Navigate to Accounting and then Reports. Search for "Trial Balance" and select it.
- Update the columns to include only the necessary data: account, account code, and two-year comparatives.
- Export the trial balance to an Excel file.
Step 3: Prepare and Format Data
- Open the exported Excel file and enable editing.
- Download a copy of the TRC template from your Google Drive.
- Use VLOOKUP to align the data with the TRC template.
Step 4: Import into Go Systems
- Navigate to the Trial Balance section in Go Systems and select Import.
- Drag and drop the prepared Excel sheet into the import window and select the TRC Zero template.
Step 5: Finalize and Compute
- After importing, go to Compute to update the trial balance.
- Review the imported data and ensure all figures are correct. Adjust if necessary.
- Once verified, update your organizer and hit Compute again to finalize.
